Summary
Cystinuria is a genetic disorder that leads to recurrent urolith formation due to hyperexcretion of cystine. The mutation described in the SLC7A9 (Variant 3) gene has only been reported to be associated with Cystinuria Type 3 in French bulldogs, English bulldogs and mastiff breeds.
