CKCS health mini-panel
Summary
Panels are groups of tests that are often chosen together.
The CKCS health mini-panel consists of six inherited disorders known to be present in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel population. These are DM (degenerative myelopathy), CM (congenital macrothrombocytopenia), EFS (episodic falling syndrome), curly coat/dry eye, MMVD (myxomatous mitral valve disease) and MCADD (medium chain acyl co-A dehydrogenase deficiency).
Where possible, please avoid breeding together two dogs that are carriers or affected for the same disorder.
